A tribute to HR Giger's Alien. This bio-mechanical design was rendered in Renderman for Houdini, textured in Substance Painter and modelled in Zbrush. The model does have a few missing elements, but calling this done for now.

Imported my lookdev setup in Houdini, switched the shaders to pxr driven channels, added another HDRI and rendered

I started off by creating some simple blocking shapes in Maya as seen below and then worked my way up in Zbrush. Created some remesh geos and then UV unwrapped witihin Substance (just lazy). Exported the color maps, data maps and displacement for lookdev and that was it.
