MECHA - QUICK CONCEPT

This work was entirely done using Zbrush - from modelling to rendering.
I wanted to explore the different means to quickly achieve a concept model. This was my first time using Zbrush to do the whole thing - usually I would have switched to Maya otherwise every now and then.
Most of the work was done using the Zmodeler, but I also utilized some basic brushes and inbuilt IMM brushes to get some of the additional details going.
This work was inspired by the artwork of RQ Mecha, who creates several kinds of mecha for printing purposes.
