SNOWPIERCER SEASON 02
The train is even larger than Snowpiercer, being 10.8 meters wide, 13.3 meters tall (18.1 at the engine), and 88.2 meters long per car (70.8 meters at the engine). This would make the 40 car train exceed a length of 2.2 miles or 3.5 km. This is probably the closest to the actual dimensions however, the scale used during the set is downscaled.
Another really cool show that I got to work on was Snowpiercer. I worked on it's Season 2 release, mainly on it's famous Big Alice locomotive. I was part of the team involved in modelling the asset and mainly was tasked to figure out a way to conceptualize and implement a rocket launcher on top of the train, as you can see in the snippets below. I provided them with two variations of the opening from which they chose the one you will see in the shot.
